It’s so cute and instantly brings back our childhood memories of pulling a vintage red metal wagon down our street while playing with neighborhood friends. BYO (Build Your Own) your way for loads of creative possibilities. Layer the tires and wheel centers. Add the railing and trim if desired. Last of course is the angled handle, which is possibly the most precious piece of this seriously fun transportation set. It may be added to the left or right side of the wagon, or even omitted for simpler projects.
The wagon is perfect for every season, holiday, most occasions and so many themes. It is a versatile workhorse if we ever saw one! The railing doubles as fencing; cut several and then attach them together for a long fence. The wagon base can be used as a pot, pan or basket if the wheel portions are removed with a craft knife or scissors. Another option would be to only cut part of the die.
Fill up your wagon with pumpkins for autumn, candy for Halloween, presents for Christmas, hearts for Valentine’s Day, shamrocks for St. Patrick’s Day, etc. Though it is small, it is mighty. The tires and wheel centers are utilitarian geometric shapes. They can easily be reimagined as eyes, bubbles and mini donuts just to give a few examples.
