333 & 444 – Intermediate Assembly Puzzle
333 & 444 is a wooden assembly puzzle designed by Lucie Pauwels and produced by Pelikan Puzzles. Its name describes two distinct goals: building a smaller cube from the maple pieces and a larger cube from the complete set.
Arrange the maple pieces into a 3 × 3 × 3 cube, then use every piece to build a fully filled 4 × 4 × 4 cube. The larger challenge introduces additional constraints as the components must fit together into one complete assembly.
The smaller cube provides a useful introduction to the shapes before the more involved full-set challenge. Contrasting jatoba and maple give the finished puzzle a clearly defined geometric appearance.
