Description
The Machinist's Stash is a cylindrical metal puzzle which contains a hiding place secured with a labyrinth lock. The lock is easy to close, but opening it requires a strict adherence to the algorithm. Any error will throw you back to the beginning.
This puzzle has been machined by hand. No hints are given on how to open this on the puzzle itself. This will be a challenging puzzle for many people.
This wonderful puzzle is produced by Andriy Bruns and is based on a puzzle called Fireplug, which was originally designed by Marcel Gillen.
Andriy Bruns resides in the Ukraine and has a masters in engineering design. Up until August 2022 Andriy has been volunteering in his region during war times to help in any way possible. Luckily his home and workshop has remained intact and he has since been sent back home to work in his workshop to help provide for his country financially. All metals tarnish over time. Residual oil and salt from handling speed up the process and may leave undesirable fingerprints. Wipe down your puzzle with a microfiber cloth between uses and the occasional use of a metal polishing kit with a coat of Renaissance Wax will keep your metal puzzles in great condition.
